Promotion of Blue Economy in Trat Province, Thailand

     The project was begun in 2016 and was certified as a sub-research project in 2018 as a collaboration between the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand, and the Third Institute of Oceanography (TIO), State Oceanic Administration (SOA), People's Republic of China. It aims for developing guidelines for managing marine and coastal resources according to the Blue Economy approach, with a goal for sustainable uses of marine and coastal resources. The operational area is in Trat Province, Thailand.

Objective

• To investigate guidelines for sustainable marine and coastal management according to the Blue Economy approach.
