Establishment of MPA in Chumphon Province under DMCR’s Law Application

     The program was operated from 2016 to 2019 as a collaboration between the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand, and the Third Institute of Oceanography (TIO), State Oceanic Administration (SOA), People's Republic of China. Objective of the program was to prepare information for the declaration of marine and coastal protected areas in compliance with the Act on Promotion of Marine and Coastal Resources Management B.E.2558 (2015). The operational area was undertaken in Chumphon Province, Thailand
